Panasonic Eluga Turbo Lands In India; Specs Include 5-Inch Display, 13MP Camera, 3 GB of RAM

Japanese multinational electronics corporation Panasonic has recently added a new device in their smartphone product portfolio. According to The Times of India, the newly launched smartphone is called the Eluga Turbo and Panasonic first launched it in India.

It will have a price tag of Rs.10,999 and will only be available on Snapdeal via flash sales. Phones Review detailed that those who are interested in purchasing the device can now register for the sale. They will only need to enter their email and mobile number on the product page. The only model available though has an attractive Blue color.

As for the specs, Gizbot reported that the Panasonic Eluga Turbo comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1280p. It is topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for screen protection. Under the hood, one will find a 1.5 GHz octa-core 64-bit processor. It also comes with 3 GB of RAM and has an internal memory storage of 32 GB which can be expanded further via a microSD card.

The smartphone runs with the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system out of the box. Dekh News detailed that the operating system is layered by a customized User Interface. When it comes to capturing memories, the Eluga Turbo comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Meanwhile on the front, a 5-megapixel camera is featured.

The smartphone also supports dual SIM and has connectivity options including 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-FI, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS. Giving it life and power is a 2350 mAh battery. It also comes with a scratch-resistant ASAHI Dragontrail Glass at the back of the phone. As for the design, the Panasonic Eluga Turbo is very slim as it is only 6.95mm thick.

Panasonic has not announced yet when the new smartphone will specifically come out but since it's already open for registrations, it's expected to come very soon.
