Phylicia Rashad Sounds Off on Kris Jenner?

Phylicia Rashad is well known for her portrayal of successful wife and mother Claire Huxtable on the long-running NBC sitcom The Cosby Show, but she has recently made headlines for reportedly sounding off about another famous television mother, Kris Jenner.

Rashad's comments reportedly stem from the reality television show star and mother coaxing her children to bare all for cameras, including giving birth on television and setting up spreads of Kim Kardashian in spreads like Playboy. However, this is not the first time that Rashad has spoken out about reality television show mothers.

The actress gave her opinion about Mama June from Honey Boo Boo, Jenner, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey during a recent appearance on The Steve Harvey Show.

"I don't know mothers who act like that," the actress said at a recent appearance on The Steve Harvey Show. "Do I really want to sit here and watch that? Is this what I want to do with the moments of this life?"

Jenner spoke about the importance of her role as a mother in her 2011 book "Kris Jenner... and All Things Kardashian."

"My favorite hat, though, will always be 'Mom.' In the midst of our media blitz through Europe, Kim and I were still a mother and daughter in Paris, and I kept insisting that we see the city," Jenner wrote in her book. "'We're in Europe. We must do things that are really special,' I told her. 'We can't come all this way and not do a little sightseeing. We have to remember to always experience life and live it to the fullest.'"

Rashad, who appeared on The Cosby Show for eight seasons, has a stint on NBC's new drama "Do No Harm" that premiered recently. Hollywood actress and mother, Halle Berry, recently spoke highly about Rashad at the BET Honors award show.

"You are as complete a woman as I wanna be," Berry told Rashad.
