Pippa Middleton- 'Maid of Honor Dress Fitted a Little Too Well'

Pippa Middleton stepped into the public light in a very big way at her sister Catherine's wedding to Prince William. While most eyes were on the royal couple, many more were on Pippa and her maid of honor dress, which she has spoken about for the very first time.

"As I have found out, recognition has its upside, its downside and – you may say – its backside," Middleton said at the Women in Advertising and Communications dinner in London. "In retrospect, it fitted a little too well," she joked.

Middleton, 30, suddenly found herself in the spotlight and media wondering if she would be the next to wed, and if she did, who the lucky man would be. She has been dating 35-year-old stockbroker Nico Jackson for quite some time, and more than a few people believe that he could be the one for Middleton.

"It is a bit startling to achieve global recognition before the age of 30 on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom," Middleton once said in 2012. "One day I might be able to make sense of this. In the meantime, I think it's fair to say that it has its upside and its downside."

Middleton is clearly aware of the fame that her form-fitting dress has brought her and is very willing to make jokes at her own expense. However, she has tried to live a more normal life than her sister. She currently works as a party planner and a columnist for "Vanity Fair" and last year wrote her first book. Unfortunately, the book sold only 18,000 copies and Middleton was dropped by Viking Press.

In the meantime, she continues to work with her parents at their party-planning company and fly under-the-radar when possible. She recently joined the rest of the Middleton family during a holiday to Mustique. It was the first vacation for Prince George, who also joined the family.
