Pippa Middleton Without Makeup Earns Praise

Pippa Middleton has wowed fans after debuting a make-up free look while out in London on Thursday.

The 29-year-old met her mother, Carole Middleton, for lunch at London's Comptoir when photographers captured her fresh face.

Little sister to Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, the entrepreneur paired a turtle-necked sweater with dark jeans and a scarf tied around her neck as she dined at the Lebanese eatery, according to the Huffington Post.

Many online users deemed Middleton's au natural look as "a pleasant surprise"- a far cry from usual criticism over the royal sibling's use of dark eyeliner and tanned skin.

Meanwhile, the Duchess' little sister keeps a busy schedule as a columnist for Waitrose Kitchen. Working for the in-house magazine of the British supermarket chain Waitrose, Middleton contributes a monthly feature entitled "Pippa's Friday Night Feasts" where readers can get "relaxed and easy entertaining ideas," according to the International Business Times.

The aunt-to-be of Britain's most anticipated baby has become a media focal point of late. While serving as bridesmaid during the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in April 2011, Pippa earned international recognition practically overnight.

Furthermore, the sibling of royalty admitted that her catapult into fame following her sister's wedding to Prince William was "startling."

"It is a bit startling to achieve global recognition before the age of 30 on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom," Middleton wrote in her book, "Celebrate."

"One day I might be able to make sense of this. In the meantime I think it's fair to say that is has its upside and its downside," she continued. "I am by nature an optimist so I tend to concentrate on the advantages."

Middleton will become an aunt for the first time after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcome their first child this summer.
