Pippa Skates at London's Somerset House

Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was spotted skating on Monday at the newly opened Somerset House in London, England.

Tiffany & Co. sponsored the unveiling of the arts center, and other famous attendees included designer Julien MacDonald and actress Dame Judi Dench. Singer Emeli Sande was given the honor of lighting up the Christmas tree in preparation of the Holiday season, and treated guests to some of her songs.

Reports say that Middleton showed off some impressive skating moves at the ice ring, which has been described as “London’s version of Rockefeller Center” by The Examiner.

Prince William’s sister-in-law was wearing a white winter coat and sporting black skates, and was recognized by most of the spectators at the arena.

As expected, the well-known socialite and party planner did not attend the event alone, and was accompanied by a number of friends to the event.

The story followed news that replicas of her famous bridesmaid dress that she wore to her sister’s wedding are going on sale.

The Alexander McQueen dress, however, will only be affordable to people doing quite well financially, as it will cost $3,119.58. The gown is a close imitation, as it features the cowl-neck detail and the uniquely shaped shoulders, The Washington Post reported, but instead of a button-down back it will have a concealed zip.

The dress will be available on British website Net-a-Porter, and can be purchased by people from outside the nation as well. Despite the price, the gown is proving to be pretty popular, with some sizes already having sold out.

Kate Middleton’s wedding was broadcasted all throughout the world, and Pippa Middleton was confirmed to be the maid of honor a number of months before the ceremony. Her dress was highly praised for its ivory crape fabric, and fans of the style have been wanting to get their hands on a replica for some time now.
