Pokemon X and Y: All Shiny Monsters Unlocked by Hackers

Hackers found a way to access all of the shiny Pokemon in Pokemon X and Y for the 3DS.

Pocket monsters Hoopa and Diancie have alternative colors and were part of a group that can't be obtained without using the download event feature. However, players were able to discover a way to bring the two, along with another shiny monster known as Volcanion into the game.

The report originates from Pocket Reviews and doesn't feature any instructions on how to access them.

The Pokemon X and Y Battle Tournament 2014 began earlier this year.

The competition for qualifiers to enter the final round began in the U.K. on March 1. During the preliminary, Pokemon players battled against one another in hopes of winning a crown. Nintendo will pick four winners at this stage that will fall into different categories such as Ultimate Pokemon Expert, Junior Expert, Ultimate Team and Pokemon Apprentice.

The winner of the Ultimate Pokemon Expert Title will have to be 13 years or older and will earn a week-long trip for two to Japan where they can visit the Pokemon center and other sites in Tokyo. The first and second place winners of this category will receive fast track entry to the second round of the official Play! Pokemon U.K. VGC event in the spring.

The Junior Expert winner will be 12 or under and will get a weekend trip for their whole family to Alton Towers theme park with a hotel stay. The first and second place winners will receive fast track entry to the second round of the U.K. Pokemon video game championship events in the spring.

The Ultimate team competition is made for two family members, with one being 16 or older and the other being 12 and under, who want to take on other teams in a four-player Double Battle. The teams that win will have the chance to get a £250 Nintendo Online Store gift voucher and a group trip for four to one of the world's biggest gaming shows.
