Pokemon X and Y News: 10 Million Units Sold and More Mega Evolutions Coming
Today news broke that Pokemon X and Y has sold over 10 million games since its launch last month.
Game Freak director Junichi Masuda revealed these numbers at "Salon del Manga de Barcelona," a gaming convention in Spain, reported VG247.com. The director also said he would like to create more Mega Evolutions for the game.
Pokemon X and Y could have a few new DLC Pokemon coming to the game, according to a possible leak that shows three additional characters.

Seribii, a Pokemon fan site, posted the entire Pokemon list for the game and added three more names to the 718 long list, bringing it to 721. The added Pokemon are Diancie, Volcanion and Hoopa. The site took the posting down, bringing up speculation that Nintendo may have asked the site to remove them.
Since these Pokemon cannot be found in the wild, it is possible they are coming in a DLC or a possible event special download.
As the game has had a few weeks to settle into gamers hands, hints and tips have been popping up all over the Internet.

According to Gamezone, players of X/Y should look to get the Amulet Coin and O-Powers.
The Amulet Coin increasing the earnings collected with every battle and can be found at the Parfum Palace on the second floor by the fire place. O-Powers have a variety of uses including helping in the capture Pokemon, increased experience points, and an increase in money. When combined with the Amulet Coin, the earnings are tremendous.
This O-Power can be received at the Cyllage City Hotel when talking to Mr. Bonding, reported Gamezone.
Another way to make a lot of money is going to restaurant Le Wow. Requiring 100,000 cash to get in to eat and battle, entering into a double battle with O-Powers and Amulet Coin equipped will net the gamer the biggest prize possible: 22 Balm Mushrooms. Those 22 mushrooms can then be turned around and sold for 137,500.
X and Y sold over 4 million games during its launch weekend.
