'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6B Spoilers: New Bad Villain Is Worse than A

The return of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 is expected to reunite the girls after years of being apart.

It was reported that the second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 will feature a time jump that will portray the girls Aria, played by Lucy Hale, Emily played by Shay Mitchell, Hannah played by Ashley Benson, and Spencer played by Troian Bellisario older than when the midseason finale ended.

Even though they have been away from each other for five years, it was reported that their arrival back in Rosewood will still present more mysteries and secrets. The synopsis for the upcoming premiere states, "Torn between their old habits and their new lives, the events in Rosewood compel the Liars to join forces again, as relationships are put to the test and secrets are revealed."

With that, a new villain is expected to bring trouble to the girls. According to the executive producer of the series Marlene King, the "big bad" villain will be much worse than A. As reported by MTV news, King states, "This Big Bad has an agenda, and it is to find out why this person passes away — and to seek revenge on the person who is responsible. And it will not stop until that person pays, and the Big Bad will kill people to get that answer."

Even though the sixth season has yet to finish, other reports revealed that King is already planning for a "Pretty Little Liars" movie. In addition, it was also stated that the series could go beyond the seventh season, even though it was hinted that the series would end by season 7. However, these details have not yet been confirmed.
"Pretty Little Liars" will return with its sixth season on ABC Family this Jan. 12.
