Prince George's New Nanny Details Revealed

Prince William and Duchess Kate have settled on a new nanny for their son, Prince George, before leaving for Australia and New Zealand. Details about the new young woman have finally been released, even though a spokesman has not offered any confirmation or denial about her.

The woman reportedly comes from Spain, is single and in her late 30s. She took the job with the knowledge that she would be filling rather large shoes left by former nanny Jessie Webb, who was Prince George's first nanny and also worked as Prince William's nanny. Webb decided to retire upon learning of the travel in April after spending eight months with the new family.

"She has worked for other high-profile families," a friend told Hello! Magazine of the new nanny. "And it was from there that the Cambridges heard of her and hired her. She is not married and doesn't have a boyfriend, as her life is totally dedicated to the family she is working with. She is known for being totally professional – married to the job."

The royal family leaves for Australia and New Zealand next month, but for now, Prince William and Kate are enjoying a "second honeymoon" of sorts. Prince George is staying with Kate's parents, Carole and Michael, as well as a few bodyguards provided by Scotland Yard.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are staying in Maldives, at a very exclusive resort where they can enjoy complete privacy and some downtime before taking off on a three-week whirlwind trip abroad. It will be Prince George's first trip abroad with his parents, and one filled with plenty of royal meet-and-greets as well as family time.

The new nanny, whose name has not yet been released, will be accompanying the family on their trip. It's bound to be a high-profile trip, with Prince George expected to make a few appearances with his parents. However, being the new royals, William and Kate have decided to schedule in family time with their son.
