Prince Harry's Photobomb of New Zealand Sports Officials Goes Viral
Prince Harry is the latest member of the royal family to sneak into someone's picture in a trend known as photobombing this week.
The 29-year-old prince was spotted in the background of a photo featuring three games officials while giving a thumbs-up at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Monday. Prince William was also seen in the corner of the photo, but the eldest royal brother was not participating in the photobomb.
Posing in the forefront of the photo was Sports Manawatu chief executive Trevor Shailer, New Zealand rugby 7's coach Sir Gordon Tietjens, and Massey University Professor Emeritus Gary Hermansson. Upon reviewing the snapshot, Shailer made the image his Facebook profile picture.

"Photo of the day… A Royal photo bomb by Prince Harry with Titch (Sir Gordon) and Gary Hermansson at the Swimming venue tonight," he wrote. "Thanks to Bev Hari for taking the pic … fun times supporting our athletes at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games!"
Prince Harry's photobomb occurred just days after his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, was caught in the background of a photo taken last week. Australian hockey player Jayde Taylor and Brooke Peris captured a snapshot with the Queen smiling in the background. The inadvertent photobomb quickly went viral.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry was joined at the Tollcross Swimming Centre for the Commonwealth Games by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The royal trio watched the women's 800m freestyle event before Welsh swimmer Jazz Carlin earned the gold medal.
The Duchess, also known as Kate Middleton, also joined her husband and Harry while watching English boxer Scott Fitzgerald. The family was without the youngest heir, 1-year-old Prince George. Fortunately, there are five days left in the Commonwealth Games, and many more royal family sightings are expected.
