Prince William and Kate Middleton: Duchess Rubs Belly Stirring Pregnancy Rumors
While visiting Copenhagen, Denmark, Kate Middleton has stirred more pregnancy rumors by rubbing her stomach.
At the UNICEF Supply Division on a goodwill trip, The Duchess of Cambridge repeatedly touched her stomach and also politely declined peanut paste. The food item is one that doctors often recommend pregnant women avoid in case of allergies.
The pregnancy rumors are rampant in media reports. A representative for the royal couple told E! News, “We do not comment on speculation about whether the Duchess is pregnant or not.”

Prince William and Middleton have been open about wanting children, but appear to want to wait until they have settled into married life.
On Wednesday last week, rumors first swirled that the lean Duchess gave her husband a “knowing” look after declining the peanut paste. The Danish Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Mary reportedly tried the paste.
The peanut paste is being sent to malnourished children in East Africa and the royal couple was briefed on the serious situation in the African region.
If Kate turns out to be pregnant, the child will be eligible to ascend the British throne, be it a girl or a boy, due to new laws recently passed by the leaders from the 16 Commonwealth.
The amendments to the law are revolutionary, one of which replaces the older, patriarchal rule that the first-born son of the current monarch would be the successor to the throne.
Rarities like Queen Elizabeth’s 59-year-long reign would only occur if a King had no sons.
The new amendment to the laws governing royals also included a change to the Royal Marriages Act of 1772. The Royal Marriages Act holds that monarchs cannot marry Roman Catholics.
British Prime Minister David Cameron said of the new laws, “The idea that a younger son should become monarch instead of an elder daughter simply because he is a man, or that a future monarch can marry someone of any faith except a Catholic – this way of thinking is at odds with the modern countries that we have become.”
Thus, if the Duchess of Cambridge is indeed pregnant, the first-born child of Prince William and Kate is set to live a modern and emancipated life with freedoms most members of the royal family never enjoyed.
