Pro-Life Bikers to Protest in Front of Abortion Clinics on Harley Davidsons

A Texas-based pro-life activist is taking his dedication to ending abortion to the next level through his new project "Bikers for Life," which seeks to recruit motorcyclists from around America to protest in front of abortion clinics.

Mark Crutcher, president of Life Dynamics, Inc, a pro-life group based in Texas, has launched "Bikers for Life" as an outreach effort to effectively represent the biker community, which from his experience is "overwhelmingly pro-life."

Crutcher said in a statement to The Blaze that he personally has been riding motorcycles since he was 12, and he believes motorcyclists are under-represented in the pro-life community, although they would make an impactful addition, especially by protesting in front of abortion clinics across America.

"I have always had this belief that the biker community, from what I can tell, is pretty overwhelmingly pro-life," Crutcher said in a statement when he introduced his "Bikers for Life" project. "So I had this idea, sometime ago, about Bikers for Life, that we would try and bring these people into the movement."

As Crutcher explains on the Bikers for Life website, the idea behind his pro-life group is simply to join motorcyclists with pro-life protesters in front of abortion clinics. "The idea is simple," the website states. "Our goal is to have a Bikers for Life presence in front of every abortion clinic in America on every killing day. Whether it is one biker, five bikers or 5,000 bikers, it is time to come riding over the hill like the cavalry on iron horses. If that happens, Bikers for Life will be instantly plugged in on the frontlines of the battle."

Crutcher has already been successful in recruiting bikers across the nation to join his cause. At the Dallas March for Life rally last Saturday, a reported 91 bikers showed up with picket signs to show their pro-life activism. A YouTube video documenting the event shows dozens of bikers riding around the Earle Cabell Federal Courthouse with picket signs in hand.

The "Bikers for Life" website adds that the best way for an interested motorcyclist to get involved is to contact Life Dynamics to see if there is a local biker community already involved in the "Bikers for Life" movement. If not, the group encourages bikers to form their own local pro-life communities.

The "Bikers for Life" website stresses the importance of non-violent protest against abortion, encouraging bikers to participate in "peaceful non-violent intercession on behalf of the unborn and their moms ... Just as you have no obligation to run from trouble, you are not there to start it either," the website states.

News of "Bikers for Life" comes as thousands gathered at the annual March for Life rally in Washington, D.C., Wednesday to protest the 41st anniversary of Roe vs. Wade, when abortion was legalized in the U.S.
