PS4 and Xbox One Launch Events and Promotions to Be Held at Best Buy Stores
Best Buy stores will hold launch events for the PS4 and Xbox One on their days of launch, Nov. 15 and 22 respectively, beginning at 12:01 a.m.
The franchise is also holding a special promotion where if a customer trades in a Xbox 360 version of a game for the Xbox One counterpart, they will receive upwards of $40 and a $10 trade in coupon. This will essentially get the gamer an upgraded version of the game for $10.
"Within one day after you purchase the Xbox 360 edition, you'll receive a $10 coupon via e-mail, valid for the Xbox One edition of that title when it's released. (Coupon is only valid when used with this trade-in offer.) When you are ready to trade up to the Xbox One edition, bring your Xbox 360 edition and $10 coupon to any participating Best Buy store to trade in the game for a Best Buy gift card with a minimum $40 value," the Best Buy website reads.

The offer must be done by December 31 and the games available are: FIFA 14, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Watch_Dogs.
In recent news for the two consoles it was reported that the PS4 and Xbox One will not support external hard drives at the time of their release, but will launch with 500GB of space.
According to ExtremeTech, the PS4's drive will be user upgradable while the Xbox One's will not. Also, while both support USB 3.0 ports, they will not be able to have the hard drives attached through that method.
Microsoft's Larry Hryb said the company was "working on other things" when asked about the hard drive dilemma at the Penny Arcade Expo.
Sony's Shuhei Yoshida was asked about their hard drive system by a Twitter user who tweeted, " Can we use external hard drive to install games without having it on the main internal hard drive?" to which the executive responded, "No."
The impact of a non-upgradable hard drive will likely not bother gamers for a few months of years because off the large size of the 500 GB drive, but perhaps in the future, and as the consoles become functional for other things, the companies will have to address it.
