'ReCore' Release Date & Update: Delayed to Late 2016, Coming to PC & Xbox One

Gamers who have their eyes on the upcoming action-adventure video game "ReCore" will have to wait a little longer than expected as the title's release date has been pushed back. The game, which is designed by Comcept and Armature Studio, was supposed to arrive sometime in spring 2016. But due to some certain circumstances, it won't be coming out when it's expected to.

According to IGN, the Microsoft-published game will be out of reach until later in the year. "We have not yet set a launch date for ReCore, however, the game will be ready in the latter half of 2016," a representative from Microsoft said.

As for the reason for the delay, the site detailed that there are no problems with the game. In fact, development of the game is said to be "coming along great." It's just that Microsoft wanted to take their time developing it so that they could offer fans the best gaming experience they could ever make. It may be a little disappointing to some fans but they can only hope that the extra time waiting for it will all be worth it.

In another note, the game is going to be launched on PC (Windows 10) and Xbox One. Microsoft made the quiet announcement through a post in Xbox Wire. It's still not certain though if the game will be made available to Steam as part of its PC release. Engadget reported that the spokesperson from Microsoft said that fans should stay tuned as they will be revealing more details soon.

To those who do not know "ReCore" yet, the game is spearheaded by "Mega Man" and "Might No. 9" legend Keiji Inafune. As seen in the trailer released, a young woman is walking in a desert filled with remains of machines and robots. She is traveling with a glowing blue orb that has the power to bring robots to life.
