Reese Witherspoon Shares 'Girls Trip' Photos With Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz
Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, and Cameron Diaz proved that actresses in Hollywood are not exempt to the bonds of female friendship with a "girls trip" this week.
A frequent Instagram user, Witherspoon informed her nearly 80,000 followers of the all-girls trip to Napa Valley, Calif. on March 4, just after the Academy Awards.
"On our way! #girlstrip2014," the actress captioned a photo taken from an airplane flying over the green and mountainous terrain of Northern California.
Witherspoon was joined by Barrymore, Diaz, as well as stylist Leslie Fremar and makeup artist Gucci Westman on the vacation where they attended a cooking class, sampled wine and enjoyed one another's company- each sharing photos all the while.
"My new friend, Riley. #napa#gt2014 photocred @drewbarrymore," Witherspoon posted to a photo of herself holding an adorable winking dog.
Diaz also took to Instagram with snapshots from the vacation, including one of the entire group standing near a table before a feast.
"What an amazingly delicious, educational, and ridiculously FUN time I had with these awesome ladies," the actress posted in the caption before tagging her friends, the Culinary Institute of America and hashtags, "#culinarylove #goodfoodgoodfriends #GT14"
The leading ladies, including heavily pregnant Barrymore, learned how to make their own fresh pasta, including "ravioli from scratch," according to the actress' Instagram.
"With ricotta and herbs with a brown butter sage sauce," Barrymore added in the caption of a photo featuring the plate of homemade food. "#iheartpasta"
In another post by Barrymore, the actress shared a photo of Diaz standing before a vineyard with the caption, "#friendsinnapa!"
Meanwhile, the "girls' trip" occurred just days after the 86th Annual Academy Awards which Witherspoon celebrated at Vanity Fair's after-party in West Hollywood on Sunday. The 37-year-old "Mud" star wore a BOSS dress with a Roger Vivier clutch and Irene Neuwirth jewels, according to JustJared.com.
