'Reign' Season 3 Spoilers: Spain Threatens Mary's Kingdom
In part 2 of "Reign" season 3, a possible war between two nations is at hand as Spain threatens to attack the Scots, following Don Carlos' (Mark Ghanimé) accident.
Before the season went on a hiatus, Mary (Adelaide Kane) finally agreed to be aggressive and even hurt Don Carlos during their intimate time in bed. However, Mary is hesitant and wouldn't want to hurt other people so she asked for Catherine's (Megan Follows) help so she can accomplish Don Carlos' wish.
Catherine, on the other hand, knew that Mary's relationship with Don Carlos is very vital to the kingdom, especially if the two end up tying the knot. She then agreed to help Mary with the task but a twist of fate ruined the night.

The Spanish prince soon sensed that something is wrong and someone else is in the room. He then walked out of the romantic site, and on his way out, tripped and fell, leading the Spanish people to believe that Mary and her kingdom meant to do him harm.
As with any other series that keeps people wanting more of the drama, Don Carlos survived and didn't die from the fall. Despite his survival, Spain believes they have to avenge their poor prince.
Spoilers reveal that in the upcoming episode titled "Our Undoing," Mary will be forced to choose between staying in France or heading back home to save herself from Spain's possible plans of using her as a tool to blackmail her people.
On the other side of her struggles is a rainbow as spoilers suggest that she may find another love interest in the second half of season 3. Christian Today says the trailer shows Mary starting to get intimate with Gideon (Ben Geurens), one of Queen Elizabeth's (Rachel Skarsten) spies.
The two will even share a passionate kiss that could mean there is a possibility for them to become a couple. However, they could also be using each other to spy on what the other's royal court is planning.
Fans will just have to wait for the part 2 of "Reign" season 3, which will premiere on Friday, Jan. 8, on The CW, to find out if Spain will attack Mary and her people and if Mary and Gideon are truly in love.
