Rick Ross Tour Canceled: New York and Houston Among 4 Dates Dropped (YouTube Video)

Rick Ross has canceled a number of tour dates from his U.S. tour currently going on, according to a representative for the artist.

All of the remaining dates for the rapper's tour with his Maybach Music Group will now not go ahead, and include Nashville on Sunday, as well as Memphis on Dec. 12, Houston on Dec. 15, and New York on Dec. 16.

The tour had initially been extended to 23 days as the rapper made his way across the United States.

However, it has been announced that the remaining dates will be canceled due to an "apparent lack of organization and communication on the part of the tour promoter," the representative has told AllHipHop.com.

Rick Ross has apologized to his fans for canceling the dates.

"I want to apologize to all of my fans who I missed performing for due to the cancellations and want to let them know that I will get back to their cities."

"I enjoyed my experience with my little bros Wale and Meek Mill and I'm ready to get back in the studio to make good music."

The news of the cancellation comes soon after the rapper canceled two shows in North Carolina. It had been rumored that those shows were cancelled due to threats from a street gang called Gangster Disciples in the area.

The street gang are allegedly unhappy that Ross mentioned the gang's imprisoned leader, Larry Hoover, in his song "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)."
