Rihanna Fans Mock Father for Encouraging Chris Brown Relationship
Rihanna's father recently spoke out in support of a rekindled romance between his daughter and Chris Brown, and fans immediately flocked to social networking site Twitter to weigh in on the explosive revelation.
Ronald Fenty revealed that although Brown, 23, savagely beat his daughter in 2009, the "Turn Up The Music" singer has since "matured," and even went on referring to the troubled pair as a "perfect couple." Fans of the Grammy award winning singers responded on Twitter.
"Apparently Rihanna's father wants her back with Chris Brown. Can't beat a dad like that! Though it appears that you can beat his daughter," Kevin M. Pitts tweeted.

Fenty spoke out directly in an interview with Britain's Grazia magazine in which he did not rule out the possibility of a reunion between the two.
"I think everybody has to put the past behind them. And they seem to have done that," Fenty said.
Fenty's controversial interview comes less than one month after reports of a rekindled romance began swirling.
The Grammy award-winning artists have been "seeing a lot of each other in private" despite Brown's current involvement with model Karrueche Tran, but the pair are reportedly apprehensive about publicizing their rekindled romance due to fear of backlash, according to The New York Post.
"Everyone in the business assumes [Rihanna] and Chris are getting back together, and it is only a matter of time before they'll be more public about it," a source told The Post.
"It's like she is testing the water -- first they work on music together, then they hang out in a friendly way, so the public won't be completely shocked when they step out together publicly," the insider added.
The pair split in 2009 following the domestic violence incident that left Rihanna, 24, battered and bruised and which consequently saw Brown convicted of assault.
They reportedly met recently to watch the Miami Heat defeat the Boston Celtics at Jay-Z's 40/40 club, where Rihanna's cousins and grandfather also hung out with Brown.
"Rihanna arrived first in a yellow cab, with her family and friends, and was escorted to a private room. Brown arrived a little later and joined her and her family. They sat on the same couch together rooting for the Heat. There was no sign of his girlfriend," the source revealed.
