Rihanna, Katy Perry End Friendship Over Chris Brown?
Rihanna's friendship with Katy Perry has reportedly been jeopardized following the Bajan singer's reconciliation with Chris Brown.
Perry, who was previously been open about having Rihanna, 24, as a best friend, revealed that they have barely spoken since the singer rekindled her relationship with Brown, 23. Brown and Rihanna have been photographed kissing publicly on various dates in recent weeks, fueling reports that they are back together three years after their infamous domestic assault incident.
"We've had dinner, and that's about it, I didn't reach out to her after the incident," Perry recently told MTV. "I think she is doing fine. I don't know. Her personal life has probably already been blown out of proportion. I don't really have to go into that. I'm sure she probably wants a break."

Perry, who once referred to Rihanna as a "wise woman," was last seen publicly with the "We Found Love" singer at the 2012 MTV VMA awards Sept. 6 in Los Angeles. Rihanna openly kissed Brown, who was seated in the audience, upon accepting an award, which for many fans was confirmation that the exes have reconciled.
Weeks later Brown admitted to ending his 2-year relationship with 24-year-old model Karrueche Tran over Rihanna. Perry's vague response to the singer's love life has fueled speculation that she does not approve of their union.
"I don't want to see [Karrueche] hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna," Brown told TMZ.com. "I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives."
Rihanna once spoke highly of Perry during an interview with Elle magazine. The singer described Perry, 28, as "gorgeous" and "charming."
"I'll tell you, you do not find people like her in this industry. She's gorgeous, charming and so unedited, it's scary. That's what intrigued me the most when I met her: she said it like she saw it," Rihanna told Elle.
