Rihanna Posts Photo With Tupac; Fans Speculate on Rapper's Death
Rihanna, 24-year-old Barbadian singer, recently posted an image of her and late rapper Tupac Shakur on her Instagram photograph sharing account. The image caused many to speculate about the rapper's death and the relationship between he and Rihanna.
Some fans of the singer and late rapper could not believe their eyes when viewing the photograph.
"Was I trippin or was Rihanna hugging hologram Tupac," one person questioned.
Others joked that Rihanna needed to let Tupac's spirit rest after the pop star has been wearing a fake tattoo on her stomach similar to the rapper's "Thug Life" inking.
"Tupac's spirit must find Rihanna annoying," one person tweeted. "I know I do, all that thug life business is jarring!"
Although a number of fans said the image was photoshopped to include the slain rapper in a picture with Rihanna, others began to question whether he was alive.
"If Tupac is dead, why is he standing here with Rihanna," a fan questioned.
Another seemed sure that he was still alive.
"Tupac isn't dead," the person tweeted.
However, a Twitter user who was familiar with graphic design programs such as Adobe Photoshop put the conspiracy theories to rest.
"Photoshop is truly something, why (did) I just (see) a picture of Rihanna and Tupac, it looks legit," the person tweeted. "But I know better."
Whether the image of Tupac was real or not, many began to speculate about the hypothetical romantic potential between the two artists if the rapper had not died.
"Just imagine Rihanna and Tupac as a couple," one person tweeted. "They'd be killing the game."
Still, Rihanna didn't seem to like the speculation, tweeting, "Puts up BOTH of Tupac's hologram middle fingers."
Although she mentioned no one in particular, the singer also took to her Twitter to speak about qualities she possessed that made her fit for marriage.
"Beautiful is great, submissive is even better. Bawse (expletive) who's submissive yet the captain of the ship and HONEST," Rihanna tweeted. "#Priceless. #Marry Me."
