Rita Ora Does Not Want to Take Blame for Rob Kardashian's Weight Gain

Rita Ora refuses to take the blame for Rob Kardashian's emotional issues that may have caused him to gain an excessive amount of weight.

When the 23-year-old British pop star was questioned about dating the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star on New York City radio show "The Breakfast Club," she was candid about the former union. Still, she does not want people to believe that she is the reason Kardashian's health has been compromised.

"Why is everyone blaming that [on me]? Look, I don't want to talk about this too much because people move onward and upward," she said on the radio show. "But you know, it was a phase. It was a moment in my life. And you know, now it's onward and upward."

While Kardashian previously spoke about Ora on Twitter, she explained why she refused to follow suit.

"What I think is that people react to things differently and like to express their feelings in certain ways. I don't tend to use social media," she told "The Breakfast Club." "So when that whole situation happened, silence for me is the biggest form of flattery. And I love to keep it moving unless I need to say something."

The singer is now dating DJ and producer Calvin Harris, but insists Kardashian is not a bad person.

"I mean, all I could say is 'cool.' Don't get me wrong, he's a great dude," she said. "Let's not talk about it too much."

In the January 2012 issue of Glamour U.K. magazine, Ora made it clear that she was not dating Kardashian.

"I'm not going out with Rob. We were close for a while, but it didn't work because I was never there," she told the publication. "I was like a ghost. I used to get so frustrated with myself and then wonder why I was angry, so I decided it was best to keep it friendly – especially at the moment, when there's so much going on."
