There are rumors that the film will feature a cameo from a deceased character. Fans believe that this could be Han Solo, who had the most recent death in the franchise. Meanwhile, other speculations stated that Jabba the Hutt will be making an appearance in the film. In fact, there are suggestions that Jabba will play an important role. It was stated that he could be responsible for giving information to the Rebels.

Other theories state that another fan favorite could be returning to the franchise. Boba Fett and Cad Bane could be part of the plot in the upcoming film.

Aside from the cameo, fans are hoping to see the rebels head to Dagobah. Avid fans of the saga will remember this as Yoda's hide out. With that, it can be expected that they will seek help from Yoda. However, reports hinted that Yoda will not help out the group.

Unfortunately, the news and speculations have yet to be confirmed by any official sources. Meanwhile, it was confirmed that Felicity Jones will be playing a role in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." Her character will be taking part in the Rebels' plans to teal the plans of the Death Star weapons.

"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" is expected to premiere this Dec. 16.
