Ronnie Magro Body Transformation Leaves Fans Stunned (PHOTO)

"Jersey Shore" star Ronnie Magro has worked hard to define who he is and what he stands for. The reality star recently took to Instagram to show off his new body shape and stunning transformation, leaving fans encouraging him to keep up the hard work.

"I really let myself go after I got sick last year," Magro wrote along with the photo. "It's been a long road. I am nowhere I want to be shape wise, but I feel better than I ever did."

In April, Magro was hospitalized with kidney stones. He had to take time to heal after being released from the hospital, which set him back. Now, though, he has taken the time to really focus on his shape and health, leading up to the big reveal. He was the prime promoter of an alcoholic beverage.

Of course, the "Jersey Shore" featured a great deal of drinking and unhealthy lifestyles. The cast has now moved on from the show – two of the women are either pregnant or already have a child. And the men have worked to improve their reputations and public presences post-MTV.

How did he lose the weight?

"Weight, cardio, and abs 5-6 times a week," Magro tweeted to a fan who asked the question. "Dieting is such a big part," he added. "If it tastes good don't eat it, lol."

The Bronx-born star used to work in real estate before hitting it big on "Jersey shore" for six seasons. When the show ended in 2012, he made appearances on TNA Wrestling's "Impact Wrestling." He and several "Jersey Shore" stars appeared in the remake of "The Three Stooges."

Right now, he is with his girlfriend from "Jersey Shore," Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola. The two had a tumultuous relationship while on the series, and that has not changed, but they have overcome numerous obstacles and are currently enjoying being together.
