Ryan Gosling Proclaimed a Superhero After Saving NYC Man

Ryan Gosling, “Crazy, Stupid, Love” actor and musician, was videotaped breaking up a fight in New York City recently.

A video has gone viral showing the actor breaking up what looked to be two men fighting over a painting after another person’s attempts failed. A young woman was videotaping the ordeal, and released it to news sources after recognizing the famous face.

The source told E! news about what she witnessed.

"He took them to the corner and asked them what was going on," the woman behind the camera said. "The gentleman was like 'He stole my painting'. So he [Gosling] gave the guy a $20 and asked if it was settled. He took the money out of his pocket and said 'If that's what you're fighting for, here you go'."

After the video of Gosling’s heroics was released, the Internet was buzzing with fan reactions. To some, Gosling’s efforts proved him to be a real life superhero.

"Why does Hollywood keep trying to reinvent the Superman franchise when it's clear that Ryan Gosling is already living it," slaughter 90210 asked on twitter.

Another twitter user, VladaGelman shared the same sentiments.

"Ryan Gosling broke up a fight. Kate Winslet saved someone from a fire. Sorry, Superman, we don't need you anymore," VladGelman tweeted.

The novelty of the story drew some away from other important world issues.

“Should probably pay attention to this Libya stuff but instead I'm looking up the details about the fight Ryan Gosling broke up,” MattyGoody tweeted.

For now, twitter users seems to be content with giving Gosling superhero status.

"When Batman is in trouble he uses the Ryan Gosling symbol," EDIEsaid.

Gosling most recently appeared in “Crazy, Stupid, Love” which premiered in theaters last month.
