Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Release Date: Oct. 24 on T-Mobile; Staggered Launch for AT&T, Sprint, Verizon

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will become launched for T-Mobile customers on Oct. 24, according to a new "leaked" internal document from the network provider.

International cell phone users have already been enjoying the Note 2 for a while now, but U.S. customers have had to wait longer to get their hands on the new device. However, if the latest rumors are true the wait should not be much longer.

According to TMONews, the site intercepted an internal T-Mobile document, which was simply titled "Product Launches." The document allegedly reveals that the Samsung Galaxy Note would be launched on the network on "10/24."

The rumor is highly likely to be true as the date coincides with a Samsung event taking place in New York City on the same day.

The document also alleges that the smartphone will be made available in two colors; White and Titanium Grey.

T-Mobile customers will be eagerly awaiting the new device as it will be the first quad-core powered Samsung device in the network's line-up, and will be the first to be launched with the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

The document did not reveal any pricing information, however, and that information probably will not be released until the even in just over two weeks time.

For those wanting to play games on their Samsung Galaxy Note 2, T-Mobile is hoping to impress customers by including popular game "Need for Speed: Most Wanted" with the phone. The Note 2 has a huge screen for a smartphone and T-Mobile will be looking to show off the graphics and high quality game play on the device.

It is believed that there could be a staggered release date across the main U.S. carriers for the Note 2. The device will also be released on AT&T, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, as well as Verizon.

It is also thought that T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular will be the quickest to the punch to get the Note 2 out because they do not have deals with Apple to sell the new iPhone 5, meaning they will want to compete in the smartphone market with another top device.

U.S. Cellular has already allowed customers to pre-order the Note 2, and prices start at $299 on the network.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 specs are impressive and will feature a 5.55-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, a powerful 1.6GHz quad-core processor, and 4G LTE. It will also feature an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. It will of course also come with an S Pen Stylus, which allows the device to stand out considerably from its competitors, and allows users to use the smartphone similar to a notepad-like device.
