Samsung Galaxy Q Smartphone to Feature Flexible Dual-Screen
Pictures of Samsung's long rumored Galaxy Q smartphone surfaced on the internet this week.
The images were leaked by PhoneArena. The site also revealed some of the Galaxy Q's specifications, which are really high-end. The device will pack an impressive 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 processor, 2GB RAM and will run a brand new build of Android 4.1, JellyBean.
However, the Galaxy Q's main selling point will be its unique flexible dual-screen design. The smartphone will be Samsung's first device to feature the flexible display technology. The two displays measure at 5.3-inches combined. There also is a chance that the company will unveil the Galaxy Q at this year's Mobile World Congress set to take place this month in Barcelona, Spain.

The first information to leak on the Galaxy Q pointed to Samsung launching the smartphone sometime in 2013. This latest rumor seems to line-up with that original leak. The Galaxy Q will probably end up being one of the six new smartphones Samsung is expected to introduce at MWC.
Samsung moved even closer to releasing a smartphone with a flexible display when it gave the public a closer look at the technology during this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 was rumored to be the first smartphone to be released by the company that would feature a flexible display. That still could be a possibility as no specifications have been officially confirmed for the flagship handset. The Galaxy S4 will not be unveiled at MWC, according to the latest rumors. Samsung is apparently saving the device's launch for a separate event set to take place after the February conference. Either way, the company is sure to be full of surprises for the event in Barcelona.
