Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket Ice Cream Sandwich Update Now Available
The Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich update is now available for AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket.
Samsung and AT&T began rolling it out yesterday and owners of the device can access it using Samsung Kies software.
Normally updates are issued over-the-air with Wi-fi or data, however, ICS for the S2 Skyrocket can only be accessed and installed with the use of a computer.

The Samsung Kies Program is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Mac OSX 10.5 to 10.7.
The upgrade is also available for the SGH-I777 Galaxy S2 model.
T-Mobile released the Android 4.0.3, update for the Galaxy S2 earlier this month.
This also is not an OTA update. Both Samsung and T-Mobile require users to upgrade by using Kies software and a computer.
With T-Mobile and AT&T finally rolling out the Android 4.0.3, Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S2, Sprint is now the lone carrier to still have its version of the device running Android 2.3, Gingerbread.
Sprint was the first of the three U.S. carriers to launch the Galaxy S2 in the fall of last year.
The carrier is still expected to roll out the software, and will most likely release the 4.0.4 build over the 4.0.3.
Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich launched on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus in November of last year and is available on a slew of other devices, including the new Galaxy S3, HTC One X, One V and One S.
The software introduced some new features to the Android platform including the improvement of the folders, contacts and widgets, along with a new graphics interface named Roboto and the ability to use Panorama on the camera.
