Samsung Galaxy S3 Confirmed for AT&T and T-Mobile
The Samsung Galaxy S3 launching on T-Mobile and AT&T should not be that surprising.
However, the smartphone market seems to constantly be changing with the news that Verizon will be receiving the device as well, but none of these major carriers have officially confirmed the S3.
Now there are reports that all but solidify the device on Big Red's two biggest competitors.

Bluetooth SIG has reportedly approved two Samsung Galaxy S3 models specifically created for North America. The two models include the SGH-I747, and the SGH-T999. Based on information provided by Amazon, the SGH-I747 will be released on AT&T and the SGH-T999 is T-Mobile's S3. PocketNow is reporting this confirmation as well.
The difference between the two versions will probably be the processor as the AT&T model will most likely have a dual-core Snapdragon S4 to accommodate LTE connectivity; the T-Mobile S3 will feature Samsung's quad-core Exynos chip.
The AT&T version might also come with 2GB of RAM.
If Verizon offers the Samsung Galaxy S3 it will most likely have a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip since the carrier will want to utilize its LTE network.
Carriers such as T-Mobile and Sprint can skip the dual-core chip since both of their 4G networks are not quite up to LTE standards yet.
However, both companies are moving quickly towards deploying LTE technology all over the U.S. so they will be able to carry the new iPhone when it launches later on this year.
The third-generation iPad launched back in November, and it is available on Verizon and AT&T.
Samsung seems to be accommodating all carriers by altering the specifications on the S3.
Still, Apple normally chooses to keep its device's specifications the same, so consumers should not expect the iPhone to have different features on different carriers.
And if a carrier is not ready for LTE, then the iPhone will probably not be coming to that company.
