Samsung Galaxy S3 Release on Verizon Set for July 10

Verizon will release the Samsung Galaxy S3 on July 10, according to an announcement made by the company earlier today.

The carrier will offer the 16GB version for $200, and the 32GB model for $249 on a two-year contract. It will also come in two colors including white and pebble blue.

The Galaxy S3 will be available online at www.verizonwireless.com/galaxys3, and in Verizon retail locations. Customers can pick up the 16GB model in stores and online starting July 10, while the 32GB version will only be available online at launch, and arrive at retail locations in the coming weeks.

"Galaxy S3 customers will have access to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network which is available in 304 markets across the United States," read the company's press release. "Verizon Wireless 4G LTE will be in 400 markets covering 260 million people by the end of this year."

Galaxy S3 owners on Verizon will be able to use their handset as a mobile hotspot and share their 4G LTE connection with up to 10 other Wi-Fi-enable devices.

AT&T also announced its release date for the Galaxy S3 earlier this week.

The company had been pushing back the S3 for quite some time, but now the highly-anticipated Android device will makes its way over to the carrier on July 6.

The only two models that will be available on the carrier are the 16GB white and blue versions, according to AT&T's online store. The carrier will also offer the 16GB model for $199 on a 2-year contract.

There have not been any announcements made by AT&T regarding the 32GB and the exclusive red model.

The carrier had stated last month that it was going to be the only company to release a red version of the Android handset.
