Samsung Galaxy S3 Running Ice Cream Sandwich Photo Leaks

A photo of what is said by YouMobile to be a Samsung Galaxy S3 running Ice Cream Sandwich surfaced on the site earlier today.

"No more rendering photos, this is a real live photo of the Galaxy S3 with 720p display and 5 Row UI," said YouMobile. "Also the device appeared to be running stock Android ICS 4.0.3 without Samsung TouchWiz UI."

A physical home button is present on the device featured in the image along with a 4.7-inch display. This is believed to be a last minute change by Samsung to the Galaxy S3 that was originally expected to feature a different-sized screen.

And YouMobile claims that the source where it received the photo from is reliable.

"In fact, Samsung has an R&D center in Poland, which leaked the Galaxy Note chillaxing in the metro in someone's hands before the official announcement, so this thing might have some dose of credibility," said YouMobile.

The source claims that he is currently testing the product and censored the UI before he released the picture.

The Galaxy S3 has been kept under wraps for a long time with carriers only receiving a generic box with only the screen and the ports uncovered so the design could not be leaked before its unveiling.

Samsung has not confirmed any news regarding a release date for the handset.

However, the company did state that the Samsung Galaxy S3's launch and unveiling will take place close together, unlike the launch of the Galaxy S2.

Most rumors point to the device featuring a quad-core processor, a Gorilla Glass 2 display making it super resistant to scratches, wireless charging, ceramic casing, and 4G LTE.

With the Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich software rolling out on many new devices, the next-generation Galaxy S device will probably use the software as well and this picture proves that.
