Samsung Holiday Deals: Free Samsung Galaxy S6 for Every Flagship Purchase at AT&T

AT&T has announced its new Samsung holiday deals for this year, and the carrier said it will give away a free Samsung Galaxy S6 for every purchase of another flagship device from the South Korean tech giant.

As part of AT&T's Samsung holiday deal, customers who will buy a Samsung Galaxy S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge Plus, S6 Active, or a Note 5 will be given a free line for the Galaxy S6. Both the purchased and free devices must be under AT&T's 24-month Next plan, according to Latin Post.

The AT&T plan stipulated in the holiday promo is payable via a two-year installment. The new promo will require the customer to shell out a monthly fee of at least $70. The free Galaxy S6 line can be paid either via installments or in cash. In the next 30 months, they will be given a monthly price cut of $22 over a period of 30 months, the report explains.

The promo will give customers a total discount amounting to around $650. Basically, AT&T will refund the purchaser for the cost of the "free" Galaxy S6. However, those who opt to discontinue the plan will be required to pay the balance to keep the unit, the report adds.

Meanwhile, Samsung is also giving away a free year of Netflix subscription for every purchase of Galaxy Tab S2 for the U.S. market, Android Authority reports.

Right now, a yearly subscription to Netflix costs $96 and the tablet carries a price tag of $349. Taking advantage of the promo, which will run from this week until the next, will give customers almost 28 percent discount.

To avail of Samsung's holiday deal for the Galaxy Tab S2 and free year-long Netflix service, one must be at least 18 years old and a resident in the United States. The promo is valid only until Dec. 26.
