Samsung to Unveil New Ice Cream Sandwich Device at MWC
An image was recently leaked by BGR that appears to be an unknown Samsung smartphone that is running on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
The picture of this device was posted by BGR and some details were provided with it that could be hinting toward its debut at this year's Mobile World Congress. The information provided with the image read "Barcelona. Samsung. Photo leaked."
Tech site 9to5Google commented on the picture and hints.

"We are obviously assuming Barcelona is pointing to the Mobile World Congress set to kick off later this month," wrote the site. "While we would normally speculate this is Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S3, the company already confirmed that device will not be unveiled at MWC."
The site also states that the device in the picture "is clearly an evolution of the Galaxy S2 design," which would lead some to believe that it is in fact the Galaxy S3.
Samsung's press conference for this device will most likely take place during MWC that will be between Feb. 27 and March 1.
Samsung has been relentlessly striving to become the leader of the smartphone industry by attempting to dethrone other smartphone creators such as Apple with its iPhone who currently leads the market in terms of handset sales.
Despite the electronics giant's efforts, Apple still seems to have the hottest product on the streets. In terms of hardware, devices such as the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S2 have the iPhone 4S beat in more ways than one. But word of mouth promotion and "the cool factor" along with adaptation to the Steve Jobs created Apple ecosystem seems to keep the company on top.
It does work out for Android fans since Samsung keeps putting out more and more powerful smartphones that run Google's software. This latest handset appearing in the image is likely one more attempt in Samsung's quest for dominance.
