Samsung Unpacked 5 2014 Live Stream Free: Watch Online Samsung Galaxy S5, Gear 2 Neo, Fit Unveiling, Release Date Details (Trailer Video)

The Samsung Unpacked 5 Event takes place on Monday and the next generation of Samsung's best-selling line of smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S5, is set to be released at the event.

The event, which will also see the launch of the Samsung Gear 2, will have a start time of 2 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

The Samsung Unpacked 2014 event is scheduled to open up the Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, Spain, and will have tech. lovers from across the globe tuning in to see the latest releases from Samsung.

Samsung smartphone fans will be able to view the release of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and two new Gear watches live on Samsung's official YouTube channel and on Samsung's official blog - Samsung Tomorrow.

Thousands have been eagerly anticipating the new release in the Samsung Galaxy smartphone range, with many wondering how the South Korean tech. giant will raise the bar for Apple, whose next iPhone device is scheduled for release later this year.

Rumors surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S5 state that it will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GM RAM, and a fingerprint scanner.

A super Quad HD display with 2560x1440 resolution, a 2850 mAh battery and an improved 16MP camera, could also be unleashed with the new device.

Samsung has also announced that a second-generation smartwatch will be released – the Gear 2.

The original Galaxy Gear smartwatch was launched alongside the Galaxy Note 3 in 2013, and the tech. company will follow that up with two new watches this week – the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo.

The new line of watches will drop Android in favor of the Tizen operating system, however, the watches will remain compatible with dozens of Samsung smartphones.

On the Gear 2, the camera has been moved from the strap to the main watch body, where as the Neo will exclude the camera altogether, making for a much lighter and less bulky alternative. The watches have been speeded up, with the processor upgraded to a dual-core 1GHz, from the single-core 800MHz. The battery life will also be significantly improved from the original device, with the new watches lasting somewhere in the region of two to three days.
