Sandra Bullock Son Thinks George Clooney a 'Cool Guy'

George Clooney is a "good egg" according to his most recent co-star, Sandra Bullock. The pair recently worked together on "Gravity" and while on set it was not Bullock who fell for Clooney's charm, but rather her son Louis.

Bullock's three-year-old son has a penchant for spending time with the boys says his mother. The actress has worked over the past year on the set of "Gravity," which was released at the Toronto Film Festival Monday night, and while starring alongside George Clooney she admits her son developed quite a liking for the actor.

"My son thinks he's a very cool dude. If there was a choice between me and George and [director] Alfonso [Curaón], my son will leave to go with George and the guys," she told People magazine. "He's a boys' boy – he has to go and talk to the men."

Bullock even recalled a moment on the set where her son specifically requested to have some Clooney time.

"He asked, 'Where's George and Rande [Gerber]?' I'm like, 'What? I don't know.' He goes, 'I need them.' We went to meet with them and they had man time. I stood off to the side and waited for them to finish," she said laughing, "and then I was allowed to take him back."

But while Louis may just be getting to know Clooney, Bullock says that she is old friends with the actor and has known him since they were both fresh out of college and not yet a success.

"We knew each other since we had no work," she told People. "He has better hair now!" she added.

Joking aside, Bullock revealed that she thought very highly of Clooney as a person and was proud to have him as a friend.

"George is a good man, and I'm really proud to have known him for this time and the human being he's become," she said. "He's a good egg."
