Sandra Bullock Stalker Charged for Having 'Arsenal of Weapons,' Actress Hiring Full-Time Security
Sandra Bullock is the latest Hollywood actress to experience a terrifying run-in with a stalker, Joshua Corbett.
Earlier this month on June 8, Corbett broke into Bullock's $16 million home in Los Angeles while the actress was present. In addition to be charged with burglary and stalking, Corbett received 19 felony counts for possessing "an arsenal of weapons, including a half dozen machine guns," during his hearing on June 18.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, seven of Corbett's offenses refer to the possession of a machine gun, according to Us Weekly. The felon is also charged with two counts of possession of an assault weapon, and ten counts of possession of a destructive device.

While Corbett pleaded not guilty to the stalking and burglarizing charges last week, the 39-year-old man faces a jail time of more than 12 years if convicted of the aforementioned 19 charges. His bail is set at $2 million.
Following the 5 a.m. break-in earlier this month, Bullock is reportedly terrified for both herself as well as her four-year-old son Louis.
"She's totally freaked out by what happened," a source close to the star revealed, according to Us Weekly before adding that Bullock is "hiring around-the-clock security."
Meanwhile, the Gravity star is not the only actress to face the dangers of stalking. Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner have both been forced to take legal action against stalkers in the past, among many others. Berry's account of the harrowing ordeal was documented in her court statement after her stalker, Richard Franco, terrorized her home for three days in 2012.
"I immediately ran into my security room and watched the video monitor as the intruder scaled my fence," the actress explained while requesting a restraining order, according to TMZ.
The next day, Franco returned to Berry's home, but on the third day, Berry came face-to-face with him.
"As I opened my glass kitchen door and closed it behind me, all of a sudden I sensed someone behind me and turned to see [Franco] less than a foot behind me starting at me through my glass kitchen door," she recalled.
"This person has invaded and trampled upon the most fundamental sense of security I have and I am extremely frightened of him and what he might to do to me and those I love most," she said.
Franco pleaded no contest to felony stalking and received 386 days in jail, five years' probation and a year of mandatory psychological counselling, according to TMZ.
