'Scandal' Season 5 Episode 15 Spoilers: Olivia Takes Control Of The Debate; David Torn Between Two Lovers?
The stakes are high and Olivia Pope won't let her candidate, Mellie Grant, lose her face to the public once again. That is why, the crisis manager takes charge in arranging the presidential debate long before it takes place in the upcoming episode of ABC's hit political drama TV series "Scandal" Season 5.
A sneak peek on YouTube shows Olivia officially taking the reins on Mellie's presidential campaign. The clip shows her haggling her terms to the representatives of the other candidates including Susan Ross and Hollis Doyle.
"I'm pulling Mellie out," Pope threatened as she insists that her technical preference be imposed. The other parties refuse, as expected. But Liv knows full to well that they couldn't let the debate happen without her candidate. She appears to be quite confident in telling Mellie that she's just setting everything up on her favor, and indeed it works just as she wants it.
"OK Olivia, lights and buzzers…" the man said, and just as quickly, Olivia cuts in to add, "of my choosing."
Olivia, meanwhile, will have some issues to face on her own. In this week's episode, "Pencils Down," the spoiler report from Carter Matt said that the Gladiators will discover something of value on the surveillance they made on Jake. The team doesn't necessarily grasp the intention of their boss on the NSA head but nevertheless, they will deliver her the necessary information. Liv, on her part, suspects that Jake is trying to make his new girlfriend fall in love with him for a different reason. Pope needs to find out more about this and installs secret cameras.
Elsewhere, David is now feeling the pressure of trying romancing two women at the same time. The situation will force him to seek some advice on how to handle his love interests with Liz North and Susan Ross.
Find out how these events unfold when "Scandal" Season 5 Episode 14 premieres this Thursday, Mar. 24 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
