'Scorpion' Season 2 Episode 23 Spoilers: Team Heads Over to Chernobyl to Fix a Nuclear Reactor
Fans of CBS' hit action drama TV series "Scorpion" Season 2 are in for some huge surprise when the show returns this week with a brand new episode. For one, it looks like the new segment might see Walter and Paige finally giving in to each other's feelings. Meanwhile, Team Scorpion flies over to a former USSR territory to look into a nuclear reactor that is already seeping with nuclear materials.
In the previous episode, Walter and Paige were committing themselves to other people since they both can't fall for each other for the team's sake. However, the evidence seems to suggest that the two are now ready to make a huge leap in their relationship.
The synopsis shared by The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Chernobyl Intentions," said that the group of geniuses (and a single mom) will be called on to do an international mission. It says that they will head over to Chernobyl, one of the world's most radioactive places, to repair a decaying nuclear reactor before it blows up and result to yet another global-scale disaster.
Things will quickly go out of hand when Sylvester and Paige got trapped inside the site.
A promo video offers a quick glimpse on some of the most explosive events that are to be expected to happen in the episode.
In the clip, Happy can be seen screaming at the top of her lungs, prompting Paige, Walter, Agent Cabe, and a woman to "run" as a huge explosion occurs at their backs.
The next scenes that followed hear the engineer telling Walter about loving someone. Toby can then be heard saying about the drastic situation which he fears could be another Chernobyl accident: a "Chernobyl 2: The Sequel." The preview meanwhile hinted the growing romance between the two aforementioned characters. At one point, they can be spotted almost kissing each other.
Find out how these events unfold when "Scorpion" Season 2 Episode 23 premieres this Monday, Apr. 18, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
