'Scream Queens' season 2 spoilers: Chanel Oberlin gets a makeover, Emma Roberts teases
Viewers will be excited to know that Emma Roberts' Chanel Oberlin may be getting a makeover for the upcoming season two of Fox's television series, "Scream Queens," as the actress teases on US Weekly. She also manages to treat info-loving fans to the news that the show will be set in a psychiatric facility.
"It's [based in a] mental hospital," Roberts says of upcoming season. "So, I doubt Chanel is looking as 'Chanel' as we remember her [on the finale] …" She adds, "I don't know what the transformation's going to be but I'm sure [the show runners will have] something up their sleeve!"
The star, while on her romp at Coachella 2016, tells WWD what she's currently working on. The actress reveals her show's timetable along with a new project she's involved with.

She shares that she had just finished her current project, a film called 'Billionaire Boys Club.'
"… We got to do amazing Eighties fashion. Kind of like Debbie Harry, not so much shoulder pads. My character is rock 'n' roll-inspired, which I loved, and my hair and makeup direction was Debbie Harry. Right now I'm just hanging out and then I go back to "Scream Queens" in July."
The 25-year-old actress also says that her character Chanel may have a new love interest when the new season comes around. And she says that he is going to be someone "very, very, very handsome."
Returning to the show, besides Roberts, are Abigail Breslin (playing Libby Putney/Chanel #5), Lea Michele (as Hester Ulrich/Chanel #6), Jamie Lee Curtis (who plays Dean Cathy Munsch), Keke Palmer (as Zayday Williams), Glen Powell (as Chad Radwell), Billie Lourd (playing Sadie Swenson/Chanel #3), and Niecy Nash (who plays Officer Denise Hemphill).
No premiere date has been announced for "Scream Queens" season two as yet. But the show's sophomore season is expected to roll around during the last quarter of the year.
