Selena Gomez Denies Suffering a Miscarriage; Blocks Justin Bieber Phone Number?

Selena Gomez recently denied a report claiming she suffered a miscarriage back in 2012.

On Wednesday a US tabloid claimed the "Come & Get It" singer, 21, miscarried after falling pregnant with Justin Bieber a few years ago however her rep revealed the report is false. Gomez and Bieber have dated on and off since 2011 and the split in April after an alleged fight at Coachella.

"[The rumor is] 100 percent fictional," Gomez' rep confirmed to Us magazine.

Fans sympathized with the singer on social networking sites after the miscarriage report surfaced however many are now relieved after learning that it never happened.

"She wanted that baby. She was convinced it was meant to be and that it was a sign that she and Justin should be together forever," a source told In Touch magazine which ran the story.

"His team felt it would ruin his career because at the time he had a clean image," another insider was quoted as saying.

Gomez has had a difficult year following the December cancellation of her Stars Dance tour around Australia. In January she voluntarily entered the Dawn at The Meadows treatment center for personal reasons and her relationship with Bieber remains rocky.

Bieber, 20, has been photographed spending time with model Yovanna Ventura, 18, in recent weeks in the wake of his split from Gomez however a source maintains that he still loves the former Disney star.

"Justin is still not over Selena. Yovanna is just a rebound for the time being. The reason JB likes Yovanna is that she doesn't call him out … like Selena used to do," a source said according to Showbiz Spy.

A new report claims Gomez has resorted to drastic measures in a bid to cut ties with Bieber for good this time.

"Selena has blocked Justin's number," a source told Us magazine. "She's not talking to him or looking at his social media — she is really trying to forget him, since he's not willing to be committed. She's done with letting him get away with cheating on her."
