'Shadowhunters' Season 1 Episode 12 Spoilers: Alec-Lydia Wedding Takes Center Stage

Fans of Freeform's hit fantasy drama TV series "Shadowhunters" Season 1 were shocked to find out the truth about Jace and Clary. In "Blood Calls To Blood," it was revealed that Jace is actually Clary's own brother. The new development is expected to take a toll in their relationship, but one thing is for sure, Simon will pounce right into the opportunity to get Clary for his own. With his competition already out of the game, the prize is now his for the taking. But will Clary succumb to the truth?

This big issue, however, will be put aside as of the moment as the details for the upcoming episode called "Malec" will put the limelight on Alec and Lydia's wedding.

The episode details shared over at the show's official website said the Institute will be scampering as everyone is getting ready for Alec and Lydia's big event. According to the site, Lydia will busy herself over the final touches of her wedding dress and the decorations of the venue. Isabelle, meanwhile, will find ways to give her brother that "traditional, mundane bachelor party."

But beyond the excitement and anticipation is the fact that the lovers are having some battles fought inside them. For Alec, he is quite pressured to make sure that this very important moment of his life will go smoothly. However, he is quite worried that his parabatai won't be at his side as he and Jace are still at odds. Making things complicated for him is the fact that he obviously loves Magus Bane and not his bride to be. But the necessity to strengthen the Lightwood family name will supersede over his feelings.

The promo video shows Magnus trying to dissuade the groom to be from making a big mistake, which makes the situation even harder.

For Jace and Clary, the synopsis hinted that though the two may have already come to terms with the truth, Jace won't still be giving up on her.
