Shania Twain Robin Roberts Duet Goes Viral
Shania Twain joined forces with Robin Roberts for a duet on Monday that has country music fans abuzz on social media.
The "Good Morning America" host initially broke news of her duet with Twain via Twitter earlier this week.
"Merry Monday @GMA," Roberts posted. "Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I sure did, taking Vegas stage w/ @ShaniaTwain. You'll see it in PopNews. Warning!"

While in Las Vegas, Roberts was covering an upcoming ABC CMA television feature on Twain entitled "In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts." After interviewing the country music legend, Roberts was invited onstage to sing a duet. The pair sang "Today Is Your Day" during the Oct. 19th show.

Following the performance, Twain tweeted, "Invited @RobinRoberts on stage. She's such a remarkable example of courage and determination! I had the best time with you."
Roberts, a breast cancer survivor, underwent a bone marrow transplant after being diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a rare blood disorder that is also known as pre-leukemia.
Retweeting Twain's message, Roberts added, "Big check on the bucket list… getting on stage and performing in Las Vegas. Something I'll remember for the rest of my life."
"It was surreal," Roberts later recalled of the performance on "GMA." "It was great, she is special."
Robin Roberts' interview with Shania Twain on "In the Spotlight" will air at 10 p.m. EST on Nov. 5 on ABC. This year's CMA Awards begin at 8 p.m. EST on Nov. 6.
Meanwhile, Twain recently decided to continue her residency at Las Vegas' Caesar's Palace where she performs a show called "Shania: Still the One." The singer began the second run of shows on Oct. 15th and more shows in January and February were announced last week.
