Penny Pompa of Monroe, Conn. was praying for a miracle. Deep in debt, she was about to lose her house. On top of that, she was just diagnosed with Lyme disease.
On the morning of April 30, she was supposed to meet a friend, but she didn't have the energy to leave the house. That meant she'd be home to see God bring an answer right to her doorstep in the form of a $1 million SuperPrize check from Publishers Clearing House.
"We have so much debt," she explains after realizing what just happened. "Literally, before I fell asleep this morning I just was praying, that I needed help, and this ... this is just God."
