Sprint iPhone 5 Release Date Coincides With iPad Launch
Sprint is not only bringing the next generation iPhone to its network, but has also worked closely with Apple to begin to distribute its iPad, according to 9to5 Mac.
The two companies have just completed work on a version of the iPad for Sprint’s data network.
Sprint’s new iPad seems ready to hit the market, according to the site who reports that customers should be able to get an Apple tablet powered by Sprint sometime before the holidays.

9to5 Mac originally reported that the new iPhone would be coming to Sprint back in June and it suspects that the iPad will likely drop around the same time Apple’s smartphone comes out on Sprints network.
According to the site’s source, the scheduled release date for the iPhone 5 is still October 7.
AT&T plans to alter its data throttling and provide customers with new insurance plans for devices $199 and up in early October, a time which coincides perfectly with the rumored release date for the iPhone 5.
Sprint’s iPad will be completely separate from the CDMA Verizon model, according to the site.
It is also not clear at this point if Sprint’s iPad will run on its powerful 4G WiMax network.
Website, TUAW reported yesterday that Sprint will begin carrying a 4G iPad with no information on its release date or price.
The site received the information from a Sprint Nextel sales associate who also revealed to them that the carrier started to brief its employees for an iPhone 4 launch.
Sprint will begin offering the iPhone 4 next month with standard data plans.
The iPhone 5 will not come to Sprint until early 2012 if the associate’s information is accurate.
The Christian Post contacted Sprint regarding any information on the Apple products coming to the network.
Scott Sloat, a spokesman for the company told CP, “We don’t comment on rumors or speculation.”
