Stacy Keibler at Oscars: Clooney Jokes About Dress and Height (PHOTO)

One growing female celebrity who captured a significant amount of red carpet attention wasn't an actress at all, but WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler. Keibler appeared on the red carpet hovering over her date, Oscar nominee George Clooney.

Although Keibler has made a name for herself as a "Nitro Girl" on WCW and a wrestler for WWF, the new love interest of George Clooney is now becoming a Hollywood name.

Keibler has left quite an impression on more than one red carpet. For the 84th Academy Awards which aired Sunday night, Keibler walked the red carpet in a metallic gold gown that had others suggesting that she looked statuesque. She wore a Marchesa gown paired with Judith Leiber and Lorraine Schwartz accessories.

Even George Clooney himself agreed with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush, that his girlfriend looked much like an Oscar award.

"It's the night of the golden statue, you could leave with two tonight," Bush told George. "I got one already, so I'm fine," Clooney replied.

Keibler commented on her nerves about her first Oscar appearance.

"I was in the car [and] my heart was beating so fast," she told Bush. "I think I think I'm just overwhelmed because it's so exciting. This is my first time coming to the Oscars, which is something that I never thought that I would ever- I never thought I'd be at the Oscars."

Keibler also raised eyes in January, when she accompanied Clooney to the Golden Globes in a stunning red dress. Clooney joked about how Keibler outranked him, in height at least.

When E! Live host Ryan Seacrest mentioned that he heard Clooney wasn't afraid of death or failure, and joked that Keibler wasn't afraid of anything, Clooney confirmed in jest.

"She's 7 feet tall. What's she afraid of?" Clooney joked. "She's afraid of low-flying planes ... She hit her head on the blimp."
