'Star Wars Episode 8' news: leaked photos from the set

New leaked photos have been revealed for the upcoming installment of the "Star Wars" saga.

With the production for "Star Wars Episode 8" already under way, fans can expect to hear some news about what the upcoming film has in store. It was revealed that despite the intense security enforced on the set of "Star Wars Episode 8," photos of the set were still leaked online. Previous reports indicated that the production team set up drones all around the set in order to monitor and prevent any leaked photos from the set.

The photos suggest that the production has taken on a new location. While studio first began shooting in London, the new photos show that the set is now in Croatia. According to DuList, there is also a video revealing all the leaked photos of the set.

Daisy Ridley, one of the stars of the upcoming film hinted that Luke Skywalker, played by original cast member Mark Hamill, will play a major role in Episode 8.

According to MTV, she said, "Me and Mark [Hamill] have been rehearsing a lot, and it's really amazing. He's amazing to rehearse with, and I'm very excited to be doing the rest of the stuff. It's such a good story. Seriously. Luke is so cool in this one. Really."

Along with Hamill, Daisy will be joined by other stars such as Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio Del Toro, and Laura Dern.

Meanwhile, Slash Film reports that Billie Lourd, one of the original cast of the "Star Wars" saga, will also be taking part in the upcoming film.

"Star Wars Episode 8" is expected to hit theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.
