'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic' Video Game Release Date Lands on Android
The online roleplaying game "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" is now available for purchase on Google Play thanks to Aspyr Media Inc.
The Texas-based console game company managed to port the 2003 RPG game and has now made the game available for Android phones running the Android 4.1 OS and up.
The download is available at Google Play at a relatively large 2.4GB, but it promised "a full KOTOR experience" for its gamers. During the time of release the game is available foronly $5, a 50 percent discount upon opening, so gamers are encouraged to check it out as soon as possible.

The game's description teased about the history inherent in the "Star Wars" universe and the game's setting: "It is four thousand years before the Galactic Empire and hundreds of Jedi Knights have fallen in battle against the ruthless Sith. You are the last hope of the Jedi Order."
Gamers will take control of the game as a Jedi hopeful in a time set long before the original "Star Wars" prequel films. They will join in the battle against the Sith while exploring new worlds.
In the game, the gamer is able to customize his or her character and control it via touch screen controls or through controllers thanks to the built-in HID controller support.
Not only that, but the game also comes with multiple scenarios as the gamer is encouraged to make decisions between the Light Side and the Dark Side that will have an influence on the game's storyline. By making Light Side decisions, he gamer can become a great hero, while choosing the Dark Side can lead to becoming an enemy of the Jedi Knights.
"Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" was developed by BioWare and published by LucasArts. It was initially released on July 15, 2003 and has since been released to the Android, iPad, iPhone, Xbox One, OS X, Microsoft Windows and more.
