'Suicide Squad' News: The Joker Nails It in First International TV Spot

David Ayer has released the first international TV spot for "Suicide Squad" and it opens with Jared Leto nailing his character as The Joker.

While the scene is just a repeat from the official trailer released earlier, fans were thrilled to see The Joker first in the TV teaser. The mad villain slaps someone's head and tells him with gritted teeth: "I can't wait to show you my toys."

Last year, Ayer and his team expressed their gratitude to fans who made the upcoming movie a hit on social media and website forums. The massive success of the first official trailer has proven that super villains can also become the world's beloved heroes.

Also, the movie has released some colorful posters last week to get the praise of younger moviegoers, and just as expected, the posters didn't fail and have become some of the most-talked-about on Twitter and other social media platforms.

Leto's performance is one of the most anticipated as the world knows that he is a method actor and is expected to give the big screens the most unforgettable scenes in the movie. Aside from Leto, Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn is already being fantasized all around.

Robbie's character is obviously out to put a lot of spice in the male-dominated team of suicidal heroes. In the trailer itself, Robbie has proven to be the perfect choice to play The Joker's sidekick.

What's interesting is the movie's theme song, "Bohemian Rhapsody," one of the most iconic songs that has ever been penned. The song pays tribute to the misfits who will now be faced with the challenge of saving the world instead of destroying it.

Conflicts are expected to be depicted in the film as the super villains sport various differences and personalities that team leader Deadshot (Will Smith) will obviously find difficult to handle.

"Suicide Squad" hits the big screens on Aug. 5.
