'Supernatural' Season 11 Episode 18 Spoilers: The Epic Battle For Power Begins
The CW's hit TV series "Supernatural" Season 11 returns this week with a brand new episode that is said to set the final stage for the Amara/The Darkness storyline as the season draws closer to its conclusion.
Spoiler report for those who missed Episode 17 "Red Meat," the brothers Sam and Dean went out to investigate a case involving some werewolves. Their stint ended up with Sam getting shot while trying to rescue a young couple. Dean begged the Grim Reaper to spare his brother's life or take his instead. Reaper Billie however revealed to Dean that Sam is still alive. Things went to further bloody complication and ended up with the death of Corbin.
With that issue already settled, series will now shift its focus on the Darkness and Lucifer, who is still inside Castiel's body.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Hell's Angel," the most awaited epic encounter between these two forces will finally begin. Lucifer-Castiel will take a trip to Heaven and will try to assert his dominion over the angels. Possessing nothing but his godly powers, will he be able to take control of Heaven?
In another development, Crowley reveals to the Winchester siblings the key to take down Amara.
A promo video provides hints on how they will be able to take down God's sister. In the clip, the King of Hell is looking to get hold of the Horn of Joshua. Bible readers may know that the Israelites used horns to bring down the infamous walls of Jericho. Perhaps they mean to subdue the evil force the same way as it happened in the Old Testament. Will their strategy work out?
The scenes in the teaser further dished out that Amara won't back down to Lucifer's challenge. She is shown in the video shouting so loud that it shook the very foundations of Heaven.
Find out how these exciting events unfold when "Supernatural" Season 11 Episode 18 premieres this Wednesday, Apr.6 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
