'Switched At Birth' Season 5 Spoilers News: Director Shares Titles Of First Four Episodes; Who Called Bay?
Most of the fans of Freeform's hit family drama TV series "Switched At Birth" were left utterly intrigued with the ending of Season 4 when Bay (Vanessa Marano) received a call from home. Who could this person on the other side of the line be? Apparently, what the series creator Lizzy Weiss recently said on social media might have something to do with the mystery.
Weiss, who also serves as executive producer of the show, shared on Twitter the title of the Season 5 premiere episode. The photo reads: "The Call."
With production details kept under wraps, the avid followers of the series speculated that the season opener may answer the question right away. This particular "call" could be very important that it will send both Bay and Daphne scampering for home.
Fan theories indicated further that this might have something to do with the marriage fallout between Kathryn (Lea Thompson) and John (D.W. Moffett). The couple might be discussing their impending divorce with Bay and Daphne.
On the other hand, this could also be about Toby (Lucas Grabeel) and Lily (Rachel Shenton). The latter might be facing some problems with their newborn baby and they need Bay and Daphne's help as soon as possible.
Needless to say, these are just speculations and have yet to be confirmed or debunked by the show.
Meanwhile, Weiss' social media update also revealed the rest of the titles of Season 5. Episode 2 will be called "This Has to Do With Me," Episode 3 will be "Surprise," and Episode 4 is "Relation of Lines and Colors."
Weiss, apparently, still has to find the perfect title for Episode 5.
"Episode 5 is possibly our most ambitious and outside the box episode of #SwitchedatBirth to date. I hope to break the news this week," she said.
Based on what's given, the viewers can only guess which of the events in the previous season will be addressed in the new installment.
"Switched At Birth" Season 5 is slated to return to the airwaves sometime in April.
