Switchfoot's 'Nothing is Sound' Remains at No. 3 on Billboard 200
San Diego alt-rockers Switchfoot remain at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 this week with their latest album, Nothing is Sound. The album's chart positioning bests the band's previous release, the double-platinum smash The Beautiful Letdown, which peaked at #16 on the Billboard 200.
Nothing is Sound also grabbed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Christian Albums chart last week, garnering first week sales of 131,000 units, which marks Switchfoots best weeks sales.
Stars, the first single from Nothing is Sound, received the most number of adds last week at Modern Rock radio and #1 Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles record as well. Stars is currently climbing charts on a variety of formats including Adult Top 40 (#26), Rock Airplay (#39), and Modern Rock Tracks (#16). The single also holds the No. 4 position on Blenders Most Popular Songs In America chart, as well as R&Rs CHR and Christian Rock charts.
Switchfoot's fifth album, Nothing is Sound is available as both a traditional CD and as a DualDisc featuring the entire album in 5.1 Surround Sound plus exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the band on the road and in the studio.
